Volunteer of the Year Award
This award category will be awarded based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) A student that has given up time and effort to support others within the University or in their community
2) A student that has made a significant impact on making life better for others.
3) A student who has inspired or motivated others whilst volunteering.

Student Communities Rep of the Year
This award category will be awarded based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) A student that has shown to be an inspiration to other students.
2) A student that has shown dedication to the role and put student needs at the forefront of what they do.
3) A student who has worked closely with the students they represent to improve University life for students.
For example; Campus Rep, Liberation Network Reps, Society Committee Member, Sport
Presidents or Student Experience Leaders. NOT Course Reps.

This award category will be awarded to an Affiliate Beds SU Society based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) A society that has engaged members.
2) A society that has worked with the SU to run and develop excellent society activities.
3) A group that stands out for their outstanding contribution to the student community.

Academic (Course) Rep of the Year
This award category will have an award to a current Academic Representative (Course Rep) from each faculty and will be awarded based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) A student whose commitment and contribution has led to positive change of the student experience.
2) A student who works in collaboration with students and staff to ensure the student voice is heard and acted upon.
3) A student who shows professionalism and is a great role model for best practice.

This award category will be awarded to a Beds SU student Staff member based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) Student staff member that has shown dedication and commitment to their role within Beds SU.
2) One that has exceeded the expectations of the role and deliver high quality work.
3) Student staff member that has positively impacted the work of Beds SU.

Staff Member of the Year
This award category is open to staff from all areas and departments of the university and will be awarded based on one or more of the following criteria:
1) A staff member that has gone above and beyond to support students.
2) A member of staff whose actions have had a positive impact on the student community and/or experience.
3) A staff member who has been extra supportive and put the needs of students first.
Please note that this category is open to anyone who works at the University or Beds SU, and is not limited to academic staff.
